So, turns out OkFest DOES actually open on Wednesday, October 5th. That's come in and set up camp day. The fighting and stuff starts on Thursday the 6th. Just wanted to make sure that everyone knew that.
So, shall we get the rolling on this event?
Ironside, what are you planning or thinking for food? AKA, what do you for sure want people to bring? I might not be able to get venison this time, but I can see what I can do. If anyone has any other hunting style meats that comes to mind, let me know. My stepdad and stepbrother hunt darn near anything that moves and is made of meat.
And for this event...although not sure if we get to pick out spot but if we get to pick and there's a chance of rain, PLEASE whoever gets there first, AVOID the river side of the place.
Hydra's doing a call off of who's coming and when they're coming (and leaving if leaving early). If you guys want to do that, that's up to you. Knowing who's heading down first might good to know but otherwise...yeah not sure it's a need.
I'm not sure when I'm heading yet. Depends on work, school, and transportation.
Anything else I forgot?

I plan on going down on Wednesday but I am also not planning on tent camping. I will be in a trailer so wont be setting up a tent anywhere...I could see about trying to hold something but not sure how that would go...

I am not Khador, but we will be there Wednesday, if you guys need me to do anything for you, camp site wise just let me know...and I talked to Kegg today, he said if it rains it shouldn't flood this time, you can also call the park, or talk to frosty and get them to save something if you are 15+ people

Most quote, since we have a least two in the realm...."James is an alcoholic, so he's playing with himself". Sorry guys, couldn't resist.
Darn that I don't drink beer.

I'd say any canned alcoholic beverage would be okay for this.

Well, until I know the sugar levels in the cans of Mike's Harder, don't think there will be any chugging of those. With how I started feeling after drinking the two cans of it I've had...I think there's a LOT of sugar in them, so that's something I may have to take it easy with.

Back to other things...Ironside, any ideas for food. Trying to figure out what to bring. Still not 100% sure when I'm coming down. Not working on Thursday but I'd rather not haul all my crap with me to campus and then any frozen food (venison) is out. And yeah...rather not drive if I don't have too. Car's kind of acting up again and won't have funds to get it checked out til AFTER Fest. So besides that issue, lower priced food would be great. I have no idea who's coming or what anyone else is bringing. Think Khador camp seems to be shrinking since the Jester's came separately now.

With food, like I always say, whatever you want to bring is fine. Our style of 'bring food and let Ironside sort it out' works pretty okay.

Possible, but unlikely.

Well if anyone knows what they're bringing, let me know. I called my mom but got her voicemail. It's really up to them and their venison supply on if I'm bringing that or not. Otherwise, yeah, don't know.
Recall we used to make a list of things so that way not everyone brings the same thing as I recall happened one event when Khador ate a lot of potatoes.

well I am not technically going to be camping with the realm as will be in a trailer. will likely not eat with you guys either as they are arranging menus in the trailer. Not really up for bringing food for basically two camps...sorry guys...

If you're not campin' with us, Renell, don't worry about it. People only need to bring stuff if they're gonna camp with us. Well if anyone knows what they're bringing, let me know. Actually, it's a little more important that they let me know. So, lets sound off on what you guys plan to bring. I plan to bring butter, eggs and a couple packs of hotdogs.

LOL, true, true Ironside.
Well I do know that I'll be bringing cooking oil as always since my stomach doesn't like butter grease. Otherwise, hope to know within the next day or two. Think I should be able to bring an apple or two for apple pancakes. Those were so nummy! Been anxious to have them again.
Meals to be covered...thinking this should be right: Thursday:Breakfast for those who will be there Lunch for those who will be there Dinner for those who will be there....which is probably more than the previous two meals.
Friday: Breakfast and lunch as feast is provided that night.
Saturday: same as Friday.
Also a good idea to still have meal options for the nights of feast though. Sometimes feast actually isn't all that great or people just don't want to go to the barn or whatnot.
Also, everyone still bring money for Lady Feri and whatnot. Not meals are guaranteed and if we're not there when food is made, you're not guaranteed to get any of it.
Just wanted to toss that out there for the newer people. If any of that is wrong, Chef Ironside or other officers, please correct it.

That about covers it, yeah. I can improv my way through all those meals, given if we have enough food for them. Typically, though, I don't make lunch every day.
I also want to mention, I won't tolerate the "eat and run" thing. After meals, everyone needs to pitch in to help wash up so that there isn't one or two people getting stuck with it.

Well said good sir. We did a good job of keeping our camp clean at Geddon, let's keep it up, Khador! Being stuck being one of the few people who clean up all event isn't fun, so yeah, everybody do their fair share please, as Ironside said.

Bumping all boards with this one...even other boards.
At least three Khadorians are still looking for transportation to and from Fest.
Think two can leave on Wednesday. The other is able to go anytime after 4pm on Thursday. If you have space or anything, please yeah, reply ASAP or let me know.
I'm going to bump some other boards to see if anyone may be passing through the Rockford area and could possibly transport anyone else with them in the next day or so.
