So with all the crazy shit I keep hearing about our nearest neighbor in Rosco I think we should round table some conduct stuff for big events and our campsites.
First off, I think we should keep our camp drinking age as low as 18. Any younger then that should be a no no. Also want to say that if you share a drink with someone you're required to tell them if it has booze in it.
I'd also like to see a set time for when it's alright to drink in camp. Like 4-5pm when fighting is dying down. If you drink just do it out of site in a tent or something, I can appreciate that a beer is the only thing that kills a hangover. Just saying don't be like project or cerial. There's no reason you need to be saucin it at 10am.
It also looks bad when people walk by and there are empties everywhere from the night before. Just file than under keeping the land tidy.
This is all up for discussion, I want to hear back from people. Basically I want to raise our standard that we're still our singy, drinky, stupid selves; but at least we're not asshats about it.

Uuh....not be a party pooper, but maybe upper the drinking age wouldn't be a bad idea. Remember, if anything happens to an underaged person who's been drinking, all the people over 21 are responsible for it...legally. Personally, if you're 20, I have no problem.
Other stuff, I like. Makes us not look like slobs and I know personally, knowing what I'm drinking is good. Maybe add what booze is in the drink too.

I say we have a hard minimum of 18 for drinking, and a soft minimum if you are 18 but under 21 and make a spectacle of yourself while drunk. I don't mind keeping an eye on the under agers, I'd just like to not have to go into the lake after anyone or put out any fires.
I think if at all possible, instead of making it a rule to tell there's alcohol in a drink (I don't see this being a problem with the people in our realm), maybe we make it a rule, at least for those underage, that you have to ask what's in a drink. And you can't accept drinks from anyone outside the realm, i.e. Stranger Danger.
I'm ok with a set "happy hour" in which to drink. Honestly, you don't need to be drinking while you're fighting all day and sweating.
And maybe we draw names outta a hat to designate a few people to tidy camp at a certain time in the night, after which you are responsible for your own trash.
Also, it might be a good idea to have these all on a form for people to sign. If the infraction is bad enough, we could ask them to camp elsewhere next event or ban them entirely or whatever we came up with. It wouldn't be legally binding or anything, but we could at least have something in writing to point to showing that they agreed to whatever "camping ettiquite" we come up with.

As Khador's primary mess maker, beer sweller and generally obnoxious drunk, I support the idea of some camp conduct being put in order. Even if just to keep my own mess making and tale telling down a notch.
The only thing brought out I don't like is the 'only drink in camp at this time' bit. While I'm not really one to drink while cooking breakfast, I do like drinking in camp with everyone and our neighbors. Instead, I would suggest putting in an "Unhappy Hour", where you are limited to one drink during that time, or unable to drink at all. I would say from Weapon's Check to Feast.
Our biggest problem (which I admit fully to adding to) is our trash. Though, we've had issues with it regarding a lack of a garbage can in camp before, there's really no reason we can't take time to clean up camp. To which I would like to put something in effect to try to control that. Quarian's names from a hat idea sounds good, but I think it should be a realm effort to keep the camp clean. So I would like to suggest something like, breakfast won't be served, or you can't go out on the field, until camp is cleaned up. I also like the idea of signing something saying you will fulfill your duties at camp, or risk a punishment.
I'm with Kracken. I like drinking and singing and smoking and puking and fighting as much as the rest of you guys. We should just carry ourselves with it a little better.
I think a realm meeting is in order.

The official rules for SW is that you must be 21 plus to drink. Be caught drinking under 21, you are thrown out. Make it 21 for official reasons. You guys know what good conduct is and what is unacceptable. So it's your prerogative to enforce this rule.
Otherwise I don't see what else needs to be done other than the rule of cleaning up after your shit and making sure there's a trash bag open at camp. Enforce the hell out of this rule and of course you always have the right to tell certain people to fuck off when they come to camp.

How about combining Ironside's and Q's Happy/unhappy hour ideas. Say drinking limited or banned from at least fighters, if not everyone, during prime fighting hours. Extreme heat/humidity, plus running around & etc plus alcohol doesn't sound like the best combo as Quarian already stated. I also like the idear of a realm meeting. Haha, apparently I need to go to events, but damnit, then I'd just end up mothering everyone and cleaning up after all you messy people....two things I REALLY need to stop doing.

I can has a plan for that. We get one of those remote controlled shock collars. We see you giving birth or picking up all the trash, we push the button and shock you.

The main reason I suggest unhappy hour is just what Kara said. I don't think we should be drinking and fighting. Booze dehydrates you and fucks up your motor functions and the like. Which is stuff you don't want to mess with out on the field. But, like Kracken said, nothing kills a hangover faster than a beer (except for maybe some delicious breakfast skillet). Which is why I suggested a limit of one drink from Weapons Check to Feast. Then again, I do enjoy unwinding from fighting with some pond fishing and a couple brews with Lloyd.
Wrenface, feel free to clean up camp. We would all appreciate the effort you put into it. Just be sure to call bullshit on people making big messes then leaving them. Especially me around cookin' time.
I completely and utterly second the telling folks, not only if there's booze in it, but what kind of booze as well.
But yeah, I really think we should have a realm meeting sometime soon to discuss current Khador issues and a more in-depth (not to mention face-to-face) discussion on Kamp Khador Konduct.

Yeah lets hold major decisions till we can sit down and yell about it in person.
I'm alright with going with the law and saying that 21 is the min drinking age. I also understand that we're 20 miles off the main road and shit happens. Probably if you're between 18 and 21 keep it under control and don't be stupid. First rule of event: Don't be Stupid. Good stuff.
As for requiring youngers to ask about drinks; doesn't matter. They shouldn't accept any drinks from anyone they don't know. Even if they ask what's to say whoever is offering is honest?

Yeah. We should slap a rule down that if you're under 21, you're not allowed to take drinks from anyone outside of Khador. Exceptions being unopened bottles or cans of non-alcoholic stuff, like a soda or bottle of water.

First off, those who drink in the morning before fighting aren't us, and secondly those who do are too stupid and we probably already don't like them anyways. Thirdly, 21 means 21! This is convo is public, guys.

Yeah, the Broodman has a point there. 21 is the law afterall. It would also make things so much easier to just abolish underage drinking in Khador entirely.
On a semi-unrelated side note: Has anyone else felt that 21 was retarded as a legal drinking age? I mean, when you're 18, you can join the military and go off to possibly die somewhere, but you can't have a beer? Silly America with all it's sillyness.

What's up with the sudden Karaface and Wren face crap? I do have a Kara face yes, but my face does not look like a bird. LOL.
Wasn't I the one who noted the legal drinking age thing in the first place? LOL, Quarian, I think I'd go into shock if I end up giving birth, alright, no worries there.
YAY! I get to bitch about having to clean up after people! AWESOME!
Probably part of the reason why 18 isn't the legal drinking age is the factor that if you give people lots of freedoms at once, they abuse them. Hence why you can drive at 16, have no legal curfew as of age 17, can enlist, get drafted, buy porn and cigs, vote, and get all those "adult" legal crap at age 18. Legal drinking age of 21 gives one time to get used to the other stuff without going completely nuts. Plus it gives a people an age to forward to after 18. Gotta admit, it's downhill after 21.

First off, if you can Die for your country at 18 then you should be able to drink, but that not way thing are. Which is very funny since most of the world does not have a drinking age limit. or if they do it way lower than ours, but you can not be drafted that is women. That whole equal rights for the sexes. Guessed they missed that one then. But as for the whole Drinking age thing its 21 and we should in force it in our camp site. if we are going to do this than no half measure with it.

Yeah, what Wilhelm said. We should take it all or nothing.
No, Kracken, you're not taking it too seriously. It's an issue we need to tackle.

Just be sure you're not going 50 mph...unless the speed limit is under 50.
Only problem with lowering the drinking age is kids are going to freaking insane right away and totally abuse it and a lot of bad voodoo would surely take place if the drinking age was greatly lowered or abolished. Other countries are smart and not having on so that way kids grow up with respect for alcohol..or become drunken bastards by age 8.
Haha, high point of medical issues...I couldn't get drafted even if women could get drafted or I was male. I'm up for equal rights but this could also be where differences between the sexes comes into play...like the physical makeup and what not...or not, I'm tired so I could be totally wrong. Personally, honestly, I don't think most women would have the mental ability to deal with all that, although yes, it can mess anyone up. I also think if women were drafted, there'd be a lot more sudden pregnancies happening. Hell, I know females how voluntarily enlisted after 9/11, KNOWING they'd eventually be sent to the Middle East, and went out and got knocked up on purpose when they got their notice because they were afraid to go. WTF right? Honestly, I think they should abolish the draft altogether. America, land of the free, where you have rights....unless the country's officials decide to declare war and decide the military needs to bigger or something like that. Anyways, just thought I'd share a woman's insight on that. My rant's done. Good night everybody. *sleep*
