Lets say I took nice, solid shot to the calve. It is sore and has a tenancy to cramp. What are the best ways to treat this minor injury?

Drink a bit of Gateroid, eat a banana, walk around and strech it out in my very unqualified opinion.

Ouch. I hate calf shots. They're worse than most nutshots because the pain can stay with you a lot longer. But yeah, I get those pains a lot. It should heal on it's own within a few days.

Two cents.
Eat a banana, drink a sports drink, massage the muscle, warm compress. After that, take a walk. The idea is to relax the muscle so it won't cramp up, then move around on it to keep it loose. Potassium and electrolytes (thus banana and sports drink) helps to loosen up your muscles a little.

Since I've asked I don't know how many times and how many people and still haven't gotten an answer, asking on here.
Took two javies to the same spot on my head/ear at practice. Haven't been feeling right since Monday night/Tuesday. Don't feel sick, just off, if that makes since. Wouldn't the hits to the head have taken affect before then though or no? Trying to figure out what's up.

you should have felt something before then, if you have headaches regularly then you may want to be checked out, also a fever. if it is just a minor off feeling it could just be paranoia but if you feel completely as if you might have something wrong with you, to be on the safe side you may wanna go to the er and make sure you dont have a concussion, that can leave permanent brain damage if not treated correctly.

Negatory. If she had a concussion, the symptoms would've been there almost immediately, and if she had slept, it's likely we would've been attending her funeral.
Though, there is more investigating to be done. What exactly is this "off feeling"? Can you describe how it feels, when do you notice it? Does it come and go or is it constant? Is there any pain involved? Blurred vision? Confusion or trouble communicating?

It started Monday night. That's why I really didn't think anything of it. I sat out for a bit after the 2nd shot at practice for a bit cause I felt dizzy and light headed for a bit but was fine after that. Monday, I was in the sun at this car show for a few hours and got a minor sun burn...like barely noticeable, Sunday may have assisted with that too. Thought it was related to that. Anywho, Monday night I suddenly got really tired and feel asleep for a few hours to wake up to discover that I had fallen asleep. Still had my glasses on. Stayed awake in a sleepy haze for about a 1/2 an hour and crashed for like another 10 hours...getting at least 12 hours in total. By 2-3pm on Tuesday I was incredibly tired again, so I napped again. Same thing happened yesterday too, slept I slept for a lot longer. Even with naps, I'm tired earlier than I normally am at night...although, Tuesday morning I was woken up earlier than usual. As for the feeling off...besides being tired so much, been feeling kind of...easiest way to describe it is hypoglycemic, but unless you've experienced that, it's not helpful. Low energy and tired a lot, kind of shaky, kind of like I'm in a haze...kind of dizzy...not quite light headed although I was for a bit before the nap on Tuesday. Was afraid to drive. Felt nauseous a little bit too. Thought maybe it's a hypoglycemic thing, since well, I am that, but eating food, which I've been doing a lot more in the past few weeks too, usually makes that go away. I'm back to eating typically 3 meals, although lunch is still light, a day and snacking inbetween too. Honestly, I'm lost. Oh, and there has been headaches too but not too bad. My head's felt more "off" than achy. I'm off for the day...or at least several hours. Text me if needed or if more questions that are urgent or something. May be bored so texts may be nice.

maybe your pregnant ........, or you just pushed your self a little too far last week. I've done that and felt like crap for a week, same symptoms too. maybe you equilibrium got knock a bit off. that would explain alot of the symptoms. when that get off kilter even a little bit, your body doesent like it and kinda freaks our. and trys to "reset it" with sleep. you may not feel off balance or anything, but a minor jolt might put u in an "off" feeling for a few days. I'd say the best for this is to rest and eat normal, don't strain yourself too much. and as my drill sergeant used to say " DRINK WADAH PRITS" which translates from an African accent to " drink water privets!" I hope this was a bit helpful. hope you feels better

The fighting and exertion and sun on Sunday and the sun and sunburn on monday makes me think dehydration. Alot of people aren't aware of their body's intricate relationship with water. Knowing this, I even find myself not drinking enough of the stuff. Try this: drink a "medium" sized glass of water once an hour while you're awake. Do that for a few days and see if that helps any. If it stays the same or gets worse, then it wasn't dehydration and it'd be a good idea to visit the hospital.

Thanks Zurkon.
Got my glasses adjusted today and besides my glasses not sitting on my noise anymore, there's no difference. Did the hydration test and that went well...and don't feel anywhere near as bad the last time I was dehydrated, but yeah, maybe I'm just lacking water. Had a good amount though today. I don't know. Noticed something the other day and had it confirmed today. I've been feeling fine or basically fine when I'm not at my apartment. I've been smelling an odd smell off and on for the last few days. Got smart and closed the vents and opened the windows...got better. Smelled it again today. Talked to my landlord/neighbor. Yeah, her drier...think it's in the basement...has been leaking GAS. Nice huh? Wondering if maybe that's been it since I've been feeling basically fine when I'm not here. Just had a bit of a head ache while I was out today...and think my glasses still may be a little off. I'm tired now but I went to bed late and woke up early...and I'm not like barely able to keep my eyes open tired for once. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Thanks again guys!

Because of my physiology background, your symptoms to me sound more like a neurological problem then a physical one, so I was thinking it was some kind of depressive disorder because of what you described and me knowing your history and current state of affairs. However, the gas (from a dryer???) that might do it.
