I'll be going to this, and im looking at some of the stuff I need, most of it looked like 'do I really need this?' especially cause im semi-broke and trying to supply myself with this is gonna be a pain, so hence, a few questions. 1. I know there is food provided through feasts, and I know ironside is going to be cooking.. but do I need to bring some of my own incase I get hungry/miss a meal? (...something tells me this is an obvious yes ) I'll probably need to buy my own tent, seeing as I wanna be there on wednesday and only a few others are gonna be there.. so I don't think I need to ask that question... But just incase. Is there anyone thats gonna be there on wednesday that has a spot in their tent that can fit me? I'd rather not have to pay out abit of cash right now for a tent that i'll probably only use this month ((though... summer wars is like.. a month right after this.. so.... hrmm)) If I have more, i'll keep asking.. just wanna make sure i'm prepared... i've.. never really done a camping event or have been camping at all ((i've done backyard sleepovers when I was a kid, but that is nothing compared to whats happening here ><; ))

I'm guessing this is your first overnight event. I'll tell you what Ironside told me as far as packing goes. Just be sure you have the basics....extra clothes, clothes for each day....a change of underwear is always good....hygiene stuff, shower stuff, and stuff to sleep in/on....and water. Stuff to eat off of is good too, but yeah, that can be costy and I think people normally bring extra stuff or just paper plates and plastic silverware. I'm still figuring out what I'm doing for that part myself.
As for food, yeah I believe Ironside and I are bringing a lot for main food stuff. He's got a list going somewhere. But if you can bring anything to pitch it, that'd be great. I, myself, bring some extra stuff for me, but that's mainly because of health reasons. But yeah, bringing water is always smart. There is feast, but I don't think that's every day or every meal so. Yeah, talk to Ironside about food, he knows more than I do.
Hope that was helpful.

Bluff. Khador now has policy about this. Everyone in camp is to bring at least one meat, vegetable, or misc. item (butter, etc) to the event to chip into our cashe of food. Since Friday and Saturday will both have Feast of amazing (Thank you Bo for being awesome) I will mainly be cooking breakfast and lunch. I only need to cook dinner on Weds, and then breakfast and dinner on thursday. Friday and Saturday will be breakfast/lunch. See here for more: khador.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=events&action=display&thread=391&page=1

I've made that mistake at my first camping event. What's the number one rule according to Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy? Bring a towel. I bring one towel per day. I bring a washcloth. Body soap, shampoo. One clean set of socks and boxers per day to wear after you shower off after you're done fighting. Keep clean mudene clothing in car to stay dry. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water.

Also, make sure you drink plenty of water. Among other things. Amirite?

Especially the water thingy....See Fissi about this if any questions!!!
Also, if you cannot find anyone else to bunk with, I should be there on Wednesday and you can bunk in my tent. It is HUGE so you will be able to sleep WAY on the other side from me and not be bothered. Besides Mom always takes care of her kids....

Water still goes with other things. Keeps you from getting a hangover, helps sobering up, keeps you from getting dehydrated even faster from the booze since that helps to dehydrate unfortunately.
I've got a bunch of empty plastics at my apartment. Should I bring them along?

Especially the water thingy....See Fissi about this if any questions!!! Ihave it on good record somebody's bringing me a camel skin so I can keep up with hydration -coughTenTencough- regardless, she's very right. Don't do what I did and nearly give half the camp a heartattack because ya end up with mass dehydration and sun poisoning >.> I learned my lesson good, but that still means I'm gonna be getting reminded everytime people see me to drink more water, which is all in good fun so it won't bother me. Also Bluff, seems I'll have a spare tent as Ironside's zipper is working just fine on his. Let me ask my ride Wed if we can stuff the tent into his tiny car, so you might have it on Wed, if not, then for certain it will be there as of Thursday when Kihose arrives and that way you have a tent with a rainfly all to yourself. Though in honesty Mama Renell's tent is quite comfy. (Modified because I didn't have my information straight the first time around, that's what I get for not reading other threads first haha)

Fantastic. Can you bring them Sunday at practice? I'm heading to the event Thursday with Kurt and Drea, so I would like the extra bedding. lol
