First topic we discussed was about Cerial, decided that until his next spout of stupid we're not banning him from the camp. Anyone that doesn't know him by face though we're going to make sure knows what he looks like and not to trust him, by suggestion of the realm.
Ultimately, we cannot make up your mind for people though.
2. Food plan for events: Bring whatever you might need or people with whoever you're driving with and everyone bring a meat or veggie to throw into a pot. This will take the heat of some of us that have been trying to feed the entire camp.
3. Meeting with Beornve Friday night to talk about combining minievents. Springwar will be the best time to get most of both realms together in to talk this out. Haven't confirmed the date or time yet.
4. Widowmaker trial: still up in the air.
5. Kommandant position now has a new job a-la OEF's "Voice of the People." If anyone has a complaint or worry they aren't sure what they should do about they take it to the kommandant and he plays neutral thrid party.
6. Reaffirmed that that the Supreme Kommandant is in charge when the premire isn't there, and chain of command and all that.

It was a very fruitful and productive meeting.
I've always been a good neutral party for issues, so I'm happy to take on the job of Voice of the People. So any issues you may have, shoot me an Email, a PM here, an IM on AIM, a message on facebook, or take me aside at a practice or event. Any and all issues or worries, no matter how mundane or serious they may be.
Widowmaker trial might make good caravan conversation on the way to Spring War.

Wren, these challenges don't work like that with a set day and time. You have to be nominated for it.

Dracken needs to take control of his freaking life and tell his parents that they can go fuck themselves. You're an adult now, dude. You're never going to grow emotionally or whatever as long as you let parents control you. This is why kids who go to colleges, even at the hardcore christian ones, get mad drunk and fuck like rabbits all the time, because their parents don't let them explore themselves at increments at a time during high school. So when they do get on their own, they have no idea how to handle the newfound freedom and thus, they engage in highly reckless behavior.

And do they know that I'd be more than happy to tell them what I said to their faces? Also, that's pretty creepy.

Wren, these challenges don't work like that with a set day and time. You have to be nominated for it. So it just happens whenever the heck it feels like happening? Do explain please?

Brooder is demi-right on that one.
Wren, no. It works like this. When we feel someone has shown enough dedication to take of of these special trials, someone will nominate them. Then there's some informal debate and if we feel they're up for it, they take it.

Dracken, how old are you?
If you are over age 18 why in Gods name would your parents be banning you from anything? Seriously, my daughter is 23 yrs old and due to circumstances beyond her control now lives at home again. That does NOT mean that I get to tell her HOW to live her life. There are some common decency rules of course like let me know when you are not going to be home at night etc....I would not dream of trying to tell her what to do at this point. If I did not instill in her the proper morals and values by this time then it just is not going to happen. If your parents do not trust in the upbringing they have given you then perhaps they should re-examine themselves not you at this point.....
I am 47 years old by the way in case your parents are reading this and have any questions they can call me at 815-621-2819 or email ladyrenellofgilead@gmail.com
Thanks, have a nice day!

I hear ya on that Dracken, but living in their house should entail living by their HOUSE rules, as long as those are obeyed you should have as much freedom as a 19 year old living on their own. As long as you don't shirk household obligations or disrespect their home, they shouldn't be able to control your life, in my opinion.

Yeah, Dracken. I'm 25 and living at home, so I still have to respect my parent's rules. Which I do that gladly because I'm grateful to have a place to live. But I still do pretty much whatever I feel like doing, because I'm an adult. I have that personal freedom and there's not a lot that could stop me from doing what I want to do at that moment in time.
Your folks should really loosen your leash and let you enjoy life.
Also, to quickly touch the topic of Not-Thorn. I don't mind the guy. You'll probably catch me chatting him up at SW. But I really don't feel like he's a person I want wandering around in our camp, since I think he'll end up digging himself and his realm a grave.
