So a number of those in Khador like to keep fit or get on the path for physical and mental well being. I think it'd be awesome if we talk about what we do, talk about our goals, and encourage each other and keep each other accountable for our fitness needs and goals.

I work out about twice a week but those speed trials we ran last practice with the jesters got me more sore that any crap i've been doing.

I cleared out the fucking Y at highland. I ran one lap around the track full speed with my gloves on and sticks at hand, then jumped into the punching bag room and beat on that for a few mintues. Rest then another lap dead sprint before some more beating. When I came out the entire gym was empty. About 20 people left because of me YES I AM A DEMI GOD!!!

So, I know we have toyed with the idea of starting practice a little earlier, and this topic gave me an idea.
For those that don't know, I was a corporal in the army. I ran many pt (physical training) sessions for my platoon and was in charge of my troop's remedial pt section.
So, if anyone in the realm would be interested, we could show up maybe an hour early and run a pt session. There are enough vets and fitness oriented people in the realm to come up with a workable fitness plan. Also, if it pleases the court, I could also be up for pt other times in the week. I personally would be only available after about 6:30 Mon, Wed, and Fri; all day Tue, Thur, and Sat.
I need to get back in shape myself...

I've been really slacking off lately... I honestly haven't been able to make it to the Y since the start of this semester... no time. I'm going to try really hard to start going at least once a week, twice if I'm lucky. In fact, maybe I'll even go tomorrow... I think I have some guest passes if anyone else wants to meet me at the rockford ymca tomorrow some time after 2. My whole day is free after that. Just let me know if you're interested. Same goes for this friday, though I do plan on going to Waffle's and getting my shield ready for fest some time that day.

So after doing Jester's fun little games I realize exactly what I've been missing from our realm all this season. Impossible to win fights. Everyone remembers the first time out, you vs. everyone and no chance of your ass surviving. Last practice till okfest coming up I've got some new games that'll get everyone sore as hell. Not all of which are fighting, some are straight up fitness.

There is a chance that I may actually be fighting at practice sunday. My back is at about 95% now and it feels like I should be good as long as I do some good stretches beforehand.
I really want to do what kracken mentioned (or at least as much as a can before my back tells me it's not a good idea) because I don't want to be rusty for okfest.

cool i'm glad to see you all are wanting to get more in shape, it helps a lot trust me. My goal for working out is to get to about 315 on the bench press and less about 50 on everything else, and i should get off my ass and ride a bike or walk or run, but my back does not do well with the running thing.
