I'm tired of being the person that ends doing this, mainly because I'm not in your fucking realm.
For the last 3 practices I've been it's gotten worse. Leaving things like garbage bags full of foam, McDonald, water bottles and other shit is fucking disgraceful.
You all are big boys and girls and should know how to clean up after your selves, so fucking do it.
*Edit
I even grabbed a pair of pliers before I left last practice. Whoever left it should be happy that I grabbed it and isn't a dick and didn't just keep it for my self.

Noodle, I agree with u that ppl should pick up after themselves. However if the pliers u picked up or actually vicegrips with a yellow releise, then they are mine and where left when Kobald broke his arm. Dhormat was supposed to grab our stuff but he probably missed those duing all the drama of said accident

This is sad guys, you should respect the park more then this, good on you noodle for cleaning up things that are not yours, but your right in saying you shouldn't have to do so. Maybe laws are different but up here if we didn't take care of the park, we wouldn't be able to use it, the city would ban us, and so would the university when we practice inside...get it together and respect your park...

Yeah, someone just pulled up and yelled at Dohrmaht that it was time to go, so pretty easy to forget things when you're in a hurry, as you also were Geezer.
Agreed. I've been the one to clean up basically all season this year and have done it many, many time in the past. Cello and I were just about the only ones who cleaned up the practice after Bear Blast....she even jumped in a trash can to make more room for shit to get thrown in there. Frankily, I'm tired of it...although the free waters have been appreciated. You bring food and shit, clean it up. Try to keep track of your stuff. Shouldn't be that hard to remember what you brought. I do appreciate that people are nice enough to grab things that people leave and not just leave it there, but yeah, sometime's it's a bit extreme.
Also, I have a bag of stuff that Geezer picked up after a practice a while back and then forgot. Not sure what's in the bag but it looks like a grey or light brown sweatshirt for one. Also still have someone's gloves that were left at Bear Blast and a shorter sword someone left somewhere before Fest.
Thank you Noodle for cleaning up. Even no one else, I at least appreciate it.
Remember people, we don't own the park. The Rockford Park District has the right to kick us out at anytime. We need to leave the practice area as clean or cleaner than we arrived. And as Noodle said, we're all big boys and girls (well, most of us), so be responsible for your own shit. Yeah, people forget things sometimes but there's a lot that tends to get left behind. And there are garbage cans right were we practice. If you can run around o the field, you can walk a few feet to throw away your trash.

What the fuck? I leave the realm and as a going away present I give you speaking rights because I have faith and confidence in my realms ability to fly like a straight arrow, and now I hear about this shit already? That park is a public area and it is also privilege, it anit your goddamn bedroom. Visiting guests from other realms should not be playing mom for you. You spend the energy to go out, fight, goof off with your friends, whatever but don't bother walking 15 feet to the nearest trash bin? I am very disappointed to hear this.

Is this seriously a thing? This is actually freaking happening? I've been leaving practice early for the past couple months, so I've been dreadfully unaware we've been trashing the park.
Having been one of the people who've cleaned up a bunch of people's crap, plus yelled at people for not cleaning up their crap, this makes my stomach churn.
I'm capable of cleaning up my own garbage and, though guilty of leaving things from time to time, do clean up my own garbage. It's not hard to walk over to the garbage can, guys!

Agreed. I don't usually bring alot and usually i don't stay around for the aftermath but its honestly not that hard to throw ur crap away. If you brought anything to the practice you should be doing a once over before you leave to make sure everything is nice and tidy. It is sad that noodle has to pick up after us when he is our guest. It is like having people come over to your house while you make a mess and telling ur guest to clean it up. Shiet aint right.

Alright, seriously, this is not a new issue, why on gods earth, do we have to deal with this damn near every season? Whats going to start happening, is this,if it continues to be a problem... There will be nothing allowed on the tables aside from the water needed for fighting, you want to eat, eat in your fucking cars, and leave the mess there. This is horse shit, that this has to be brought up every year! Using the park is not a right, it's a privilege, that CAN and WILL be revoked if we're trashing the place. That being said, I've been leaving early, along with Ironside the last couple months, and have always left with what i came with. why can't all the rest of you people? But to be fair, part of me wonders how much is from those people who wander in randomly, and just hang out?

didnt wanna be an ass, but i agree with doofie. its mostly the people that ARENT fighting that are doing it i think. i think sunday we need to bring this up during a water break. like a realmwide announcement that if we dont pick up our shit there will be a strict "fuck off with ur trash" rule (basically what doofie described)

Sadly, wouldn't be surprised. I mean, the fighters on the field fighting. And usually everyone is good at remembering the weapons. If you can pick up your weapons, no reason not to pick up any garbage you may also have.
Either way, people, be responsible for stuff and step up for those who still continue to leave junk. Again, we should be leaving our area just as or not cleaner than we arrived. If people are leaving stuff, call them out on if you can. Otherwise, be more adult than them and throw it away yourself.

If there a program in your city that allows groups like the Kinsmen Club, Scout Tropes...ect to adopt parks and take care of them? Because there is here and that what we did, its great positive PR and its super easy...you guys should look into it...because if the park is your responsibility your more likely to pick up your shit...

It should not matter whose actual garbage it is. I have picked up garbage myyself when the last to leave. Come on people! As others have said, grow up and make sure all is cleaned up by end of practice. perhaps there should ve someone designated as clean up? Better yet I believe the suggestion was made to make announcement during a break regarding cleaning up. I thi nk k this is an excellent idea especially since some of the officees/ senior members have been leaving early.

I like where ur head is but i think its unfair to make people clean up after others instead of making them responsible for their mess. For now lets just make an announcement about cleaning up since alot of people dont seem to get on the boards often or at all. If it persists, I am in favor of the "Keep ur shit in ur car" rule

since i didn't show up to practice (slept a good 14 hours) did someone make an announcement? if not, we should make it a priority to do so.
