There are other people we could commission to make flags. Ashley's mom with her amazing sewing machine being one of them. I really like the bars denoting years of service, we're going to use that. Which one we going to use for squad leader and paid member?

In the marine corps you got a hasmark for evey 4 years you have been in, so maybe every two ockfest or geddon, you get one Hash mark.

Hmm... Yeah, I'd have to agree on the 1 mark every 2 years. Although, to be fair it should be 2 active years. Meaning, coming to at least 9 or so practices and 2 events per year.

maybe every extra event counts as x amount of practices as long as you are representing Khador?

Critter came up with this idea at my halloween party that we could use the mage ranks for off field ranks. I like it more as a merit badge style thing because I don't like to think that someone who's noncon with NEVER pick up a weapon ever again. Doesn't happen in this sport, once you start there's no such thing as being done for good.
Anywho, there's five symbols do figure giving out some kind of flag for people that deminstrate something that qualifies as awesomesauce in five different things. (ex. hearldy, garb making, weapon building, cooking, entertainment).
These are just a first rough guess at what they could be, imput would be awesome. Entertainment was just kind of a guess. Was trying to think of what makes an awesome noncon. So like dancing, drumming, guitar, etc. Not sure if we can just give out an award of someone being an awesome person. Although I do wish we could.

Considering I'd have Cooking and Entertainment in the bag there. Maybe a reward or two for being awesome.
If we can give stuff for people who are just awesome, we need to get something for Fido.

Actually, I would like to actively work on the idea of rewarding people we think are awesome. Like those who really helped us develop our fighting skills, provided hijinks and merriment at events, etc.
Maybe the "You're Fucking Awesome" thing could be a beltflag of some kind. Perhaps the Uchenik rank. Not really a real "ranking" in the realm, but something that says "Khador acknowledges you for being a fucking cool person and this is how we would like to say thank you for being so awesome".
As for the others, I don't know if we could give any kind of standard to the ranking. Breaking into parts would be better. I automatically suggest Obavnik for Renell. Since she garbed a lot of us in the beginning of our careers and for other such things.
Fido will be my first nomination for Uchenik.
Maybe just make it like that. Obavnik for people outside of our realm who are awesome/have helped our realm and figure out how to work with the other four ranks for people inside of the realm.

OK, so need to assign the thing to the different symbols. But still want to decide for sure if these are the categories we should go with. Also it's not a rank system, just a badge on honor saying they've gone above the call of duty.
Main reason I bring this up is Cello. She's just turned 16 so she doesn't need to do my challenge stuff to move from kiddie field on up (not that she's have any problem with it). But at Okfest she went above and beyond expectations for being cool. Sat. night she was up till 1am helping break down tents in 20 degree cold. Even had an electric blanket in her tent. I think I've got something nice for her. But that's the kind of acknowledgment I'm talking about for being awesome.
